One thought on “ABOUT THE YIN FACTOR

  1. Hillary, Don’t ignore the yang factor also! I have proposed yin/yang symbology for VM for over a year. To me it is obvious but not so to most other Voynicheros. The flower blossoms seem to be either blue (yang=heaven) or yin (orange or red=earth)and direction (right (to the viewer)=yin) or left (yang). Where red and blue appear together, the plant is good for what ails either gender. Some plants like that fern are shown with yangs embedded and are evidently for males. .Many leaves are drawn with yin/yang shapes.

Keep at it but don’t let the bathing nymphs distract you from the yang factor which is equally or maybe more prevalent in the botanicals. Cheers, Tom
